Liam Maxwell became the UK's first National Technology Adviser in 2016. In the role, he is responsible for driving public sector digital transformation and bolstering the nation's technology industry.
Maxwell was Chief Technology Officer for HM Government from 2012-2016, and before that the government's Deputy CIO.
