VP Tim Hartley highlighted the start-up's "really important" win.

SeeChange Technologies, an AI focused start-up, won the new AI Innovation of the Year category at this year's prestigious UK IT Industry Awards, organised by Computing and BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. Attending the black-tie ceremony to collect the award, Tim Hartley, VP at SeeChange, said the win was "a big deal" for his firm:

"I'm really happy we won this. It makes such a big difference for the small start-up that we are. I'm the only one from SeeChange here, it's really exciting. Some great people in our category too, so it was great to win," he said.

He added, "We're a start-up, so this is a big deal... This recognition for something as important as AI means a huge amount to us."

Reflecting on the importance of the UK IT Awards, he continued, "I think [the Awards] are really important. It's a great opportunity for the industry to let its hair down, but also recognise what else is going on. We're all so focused on our own little worlds and our own area of technology. To see everything else actually going on is something else - it's really cool."
