The InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has outsourced the development, operation and management of a new business-to-business payment card scheme.
The scheme provides account customers with a cost effective and reliable payment method for accommodation, conferences or meetings at any Crowne Plaza or Holiday Inn and the InterContinental London Park Lane.
Atos Worldline, an Atos Origin subsidiary, was chosen to manage all services related to the payment card for the next five years.
‘Implementing this new scheme enables our customers to track, analyse and forecast business travel expenditure and provides a reliable line of credit for their employees at all hotels,’ said InterContinental marketing and revenue vice president Colin Roy.
Atos Worldline will also provide application processing via a web portal, telephone support service, direct debit processing, account holder database management, card production and dispatch.
It also covers transaction processing, invoice and statement production, payment services, account holder payments, credit and debt risk management services and front and back office customer support services.
