AAISP accuses BT of poor service
Business ISP claims BT's 21CN cannot cope with demand
AAISP has accused BT of being unable to cope with demand
Business broadband provider Andrews and Arnold (AAISP) has alleged in its blog that BT's 21CN cannot cope with demand at present, an accusation that BT refutes.
The ISP claims that about half of the BT 21CN lines it uses show serious loss and latency problems.
BT claims its 21CN offers “more than adequate capacity”.
According to AAISP, the problems of high latency and some packet loss occur mostly during the day where there are any high levels of streaming media.
The company also claims that BT still does not provide any guarantee or target for loss or latency on its service.
As the problems are on BT's side according to AAISP, the ISP cannot resolve them.
“We have been chasing BT for this for weeks now, and are getting nowhere. Hopefully this posting will prompt BT to respond to these issues.
BT said in response: “[Our] 21CN offers more than adequate capacity, using the latest technologies. We offer a range of options to our customers and allow them to match the price they want to pay to the capacity they require.”
BT said it is always keen to understand and resolve customer issues and claims it has been in dialogue with AAISP regarding these problems.
