Pizza Hut hopes to make a crust using ATM marketing tool
Week-long cash point marketing campaign aims to improve customer targeting
Expect to see Pizza Hut ads at a cash point near you next month
Pizza Hut is using campaign management software from atmAd to promote its "payday" advertising campaigns running on cash machines.
The software will run the marketing plan for a promotional happy hour meal, which will feature on 750,000 transactions at cash points operated by Nationwide, Alliance & Leicester and Tesco Personal Finance across the UK.
The campaign will run from Monday to Friday in August during the peak time for ATM use – the last week of the month, which coincides with payday.
This follows a successful week-long campaign using atmAd’s software in February.
“We have decided to use [the system] again to promote our 'Happy Hour' £4 fixed-price menu, as we know this medium is an effective route to our target audience,” said Claudia Nicholls-Magielsen, marketing director of restaurants at Pizza Hut.
