MessageLabs updates messaging tools
Messaging security firm MessageLabs has updated its policy-based encryption service
Email, web and messaging provider MessageLabs has today expanded its policy-based encryption service, giving firms greater control over their outbound emails.
New features include much finer granular scanning of email content and attachments, down to recognising whether messages have credit card numbers included in them, or how sensitive the document is.
Another boost to the service is an extension to the number of delivery mechanisms and platforms that are supported, including BlackBerry and Windows Mobile devices. While the firm has also integrated many of its other security tools, including anti-spam, anti-virus and image control.
Although the system is fully managed and easy to use, MessageLabs said, the firm is also offering 24 hour support and advice.
