IT Week news editor Madeline Bennett participated in a BBC debate on the social impact of technology

Earlier this month, IT Week news editor Madeline Bennett took part in the BBC's Free Thinking event in Liverpool. At a debate entitled ‘Who Does Technology Put In Charge?’ Bennett discussed her views with a diverse panel, including Phil Redmond, creator of TV shows Grange Hill and Brookside, ex-hacker Robert Schifreen and Professor Jonathan Sawday.
