WSPA launches extranet for member organisations
Extranet uses Tridion's blueprinting technology to create "consistent message and style" across several domains
WSPA has deployed a new extranet
The World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA) has launched an extranet for member organisations in countries across the world. The platform sits alongside 10 of WSPA’s national sites which are aimed at the public.
The site offers a “consistent message and style” according to the organisation, but is able to show content in several languages including English, German and Swedish.
It also offers a central library of resources, including photography, approved quotes, marketing collateral, how-to guides and advice on sustainability.
Members will be able to create and manage their profiles as well as submit content to the site.
Mike Walton, director of communications at WSPA International, said: “In time we will also look to social media plug-ins to grow the community.”
The site uses a technology called blueprinting, which means the design is created according to a template while local site managers are in charge of the content.
The site was provided by web content management specialist SDL Tridion.
