Football transfers to be revolutionised through IT
The international governing body for football is using a online matching system to handle transfers for professional footballers
Web-based system will improce football transfers
Fourteen first division football clubs in Norway are certified on FIFA's transfer matching system and 40 transfers are already completem, or in progress.
The system, which improves transparency and provides better protection for minors, will revolutionise international transfers, according to the organisation.
In February, following eight month of development and testing, 18 countries, including England, France, Belarus and Ivory Coast, were invited to take part in the pilot phase, and Norway hosted the first in-country workshop in April.
The president of FIFA will announce further details at 58th FIFA Congress in Sydney next week.
