Cabinet Office renews contract for graduate fast-track technology
It will provide the online portal for applications as well as tracking software
The contract will run until December 2012
The Cabinet Office has renewed its contract with IT provider Parity Solutions to manage the technology underpinning its Fast Stream graduate recruitment programme.
The company was unwilling to say how much the contract was worth, but it will run for two and a quarter years until December 2012 and will see Parity re-engineer the recruitment process and provide the online portal for applications as well as ongoing management of related processes. The original contract was signed in 2003.
The company will continue to deliver a service with technology provision for the front end of the recruitment process and full candidate tracking software. Parity manages candidates and the recruitment process via a web portal through to pre-appointment checks once they have been selected by a department.
Joanne Peel, head of the Fast Stream Talent Management Programme, said: “Parity has worked well in partnership with us and in doing so has helped us meet our targets for improving the candidate experience, boosting diversity and reducing costs.”
