Pharmaceutical firm streamlines content management
AstraZeneca replaces multiple systems with single global platform
Pharmaceutical company integrates disporate content managements systems
AstraZeneca is putting in a single global web content mangement platform to replace multiple existing systems.
The new system called Morello, supplied by Mediasurface, will replace the pharmaceutical firm's two existing bespoke packages and a handful of agency-based systems as part of their global e-service integration strategy.
The developments complete a rationalisation programme bringing together disparate systems under a single, global technology that will enable seamless online relationships and a better customer and stakeholder experience, said AstraZeneca emarketing global director Kay Wesley.
‘We will gain associated benefits from a cost, control and consolidation perspective and created a new global standard for our websites,’ said Wesley.
AstraZeneca have over 250 content managed sites worldwide, which are a mixture of corporate and country sites, product and therapy sites, community initiatives and charitable causes, with varying numbers of authors and levels of traffic.
