BYOD-focused V3 Tablet App live for iPad

April issue includes in-depth features, interviews and reviews and can be downloaded for free

The second edition of the V3 Tablet App is now live in the Apple Store to download for the iPad. You can get your hands on it by simply registering for free on the V3 website and using your login details to download the issue when prompted. And best of all, there's no charge for the app if you're a V3 subscriber.

The April edition available via the iTunes store has a focus on the bring your own device (BYOD) trend, including an in-depth feature looking at how BYOD is changing businesses with input from the likes of Intel, Canon and Accenture. This includes thoughts on security, management, and how the market may be shifting to bring control back to IT under a choose your own device style of management.

In conjunction with this, we've also taken a look at some of the top Windows 8 business tablet devices on the market, in a detailed head-to-head review between Lenovo, Dell and HP, pitting them against one another for the corporate crown.

Not only have we got the tablet space covered, but there's also a top 10 business smartphone run-down, as we list some of the top devices on the market and explain why they're ideally suited to the different personalities you find in offices across the land.

Elsewhere, we have an interview with Aaron Levie, the chief executive of enterprise storage service Box, as we discuss his thoughts on why the firm is well placed to meet business needs and the wider impact of cloud computing on the market.

There's also a fascinating retrospective on the intertwined histories of Apple and Palm, and how one firm managed to blow it all to lose its place at the top of the market, only to watch as its rival become the darling of the IT world.

As if all this wasn't enough, there's also the usual mix of our news analysis from the past month, a light-hearted look at some of the more silly stories that hit the headlines, views from our maverick guest CEO writer, all delivered in a rich, interactive format.
You can get the issue for free if you're registered on the V3 website. Registering is free and only takes two minutes. Simply use the same website login details to get the app for free when prompted to download it.
