Nokia swept the board for most popular articles this week, after unveiling its first Windows Phone 8 handsets.
The Lumia 920 and 820 are due out in November, with the high-end 920 featuring a 4.5in 1280x768 display, dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB of memory, 32GB of storage, wireless charging and advanced camera technology.
The latter landed Nokia in hot water shortly after the launch, when it emerged that the firm had faked the Lumia 920 Pureview technology shown during a video demo. Investors also showed their lack of enthusiasm for the new Windows Phone 8 devices, as Nokia's share price dropped immediately after the launch.
However, in our first impressions article pitting the 920 against Samsung's first Windows Phone 8 device, the Ativ S, the Lumia came out on top so Nokia could be on track to corner the market for those wanting a Microsoft-based handset. Not that Samsung needs to worry too much, after the news that its Galaxy S3 flagship Android handset has already managed to shift 20 million units.
Elsewhere, speculation was rife that the impending launch of the next iPhone would see Apple end-of-life the 3GS model. And there was excitement among the PC enthusiast community as Raspberry Pi announced an overhaul to its board, plus a move to start manufacturing the bare-bones kit in the UK.
