Top 10 articles: Original IBM PC review, and BlackBerry Bold 9900 review

Top picks of the week for V3 readers

This week's top 10 had an air of nostalgia about it as we focused on the 30th anniversary of the IBM PC.

Most popular was an original review of the Personal Computer Model 5150 first published by V3's sister title Personal Computer World way back in 1981. Interestingly, the article states that, at the time of writing, IBM did not say when, if at all, the machine would go on sale in the UK. If only they knew.

Also popular this week, with a heavy hat tip to the IBM PC, was our top 10 round up of products that changed the world, featuring Apple's iOS, DOS and Linux among others.

V3 readers also scrabbled to hear the latest on Google's shock acquisition of Motorola Mobility and what the consequences could be for Motorola's Android handset rivals, while continuing the mobile theme, our BlackBerry Bold 9900 review and news of iPad 3 delays were also popular.

On the security front, the top 10 also saw problems for Google, a 15-month sentence for a Geordie fraudster who used Facebook to scam his neighbours, and an endorsement of hacktivist groups Anonymous and LulzSec by V3 readers.
