Firms to get e-marketing guidance
Firms needing web marketing advice could benefit from London show
February’s Technology for Marketing 2007 event in London should provide firms with a better understanding of how to improve their online presence, their web site usability and results, and maximise their e-advertising and promotional campaigns. It should appeal to any firm struggling to ensure a return on investment from a patchwork of online advertising solutions.
The show, which starts on 6 February, has some 40free seminars covering such topics as email marketing, improving web content management, interactive advertising, web tracking, using hosted CRM systems, and getting the most out of database marketing. Also included in these seminars are a number of real-world case studies from UK businesses, such as audible.co.uk.
The event will also host a number of keynote sessions, including one by Danny Meadows-Klue, chief executive of the Interactive Advertising Bureau, who will present,Web 2.0: What Does it Mean for your Marketing?
Periscopix, a pay-per-click campaign specialist, is sponsoring a search marketing clinic, which will offer free advice on the confusing world of pay-per-click advertising and search engine optimisation.
Topics covered in the sessions include successful search marketing in competitive industries, maximising ROI from pay per click, and advice on choosing the right key words for your campaigns. Visitors will also be provided with relevant information on how to set up a successful pay-per-click campaign, should they not already be running one, while drop-in sessions on a range of topics will also be offered.
The Institute of Direct Marketing will be running an academy on internet marketing, and will help firms ascertain whether they are getting the most from the tools they are already using, and suggesting others that they might not have considered.
Technology For Marketing 2007 takes place on 6 - 7 February at Olympia, London.
