Indian telco sees high wireless uptake
The world's largest wireless market is booming
India is the world's biggest wireless market
Indian second largest mobile firm has seen third quarter profit rise 49 per cent to 13.73 billion rupees (£176m) thanks to high adoption in the wireless market.
Reliance Communications shares rose 27.5 per cent in the quarter and at the end of December the firm had 41 million customers in the world's largest wireless market.
Rival Bharti Airtel also reported a 42 percent rise in quarterly profit to 17.22 billion (£217m) rupees.
