Course teaches e-business

E-commerce experts Actinic has launched a training programme for people interested in e-business

E-commerce software specialist Actinic has launched a training programme in online business, which could lead to more e-business specialists entering the workplace.

Actinic’s Ecommerce Training Programme provides technical training material for tutors and free copies of Actinic Catalog Training Edition software for students.

“An increasing number of universities and training companies are recognising e-commerce is becoming [the norm], and therefore training in [these skills] is an important part of the business education process,” commented Actinic’s Bruce Townsend.

Actinic said its off-the-shelf package does not emphasise technical skills such as the writing of HTML, so students are free to concentrate on the business issues behind e-commerce. “Students can use the Actinic tools as an example of how to implement e-business,” Townsend said. The programme is available to educational institutions now.
