Wapple makes it easy for mobile advertisers
New package includes templates for step-by-step mobile ad creation
Mobile internet firm Wapple has launched a new package of tools designed to enable firms to quickly and easily start up their mobile advertising campaigns.
The Wapple Advert Package features a variety of resources to help firms easily create mobile ads, including templates, design and build tools, and useful tips, according to the firm's co-founder and business development director, Anne Thomas.
Once created, the ads can be automatically optimised for mobiles and delivered to thousands of different devices, said the firm.
Typical advice offered by Wapple includes remembering to link to other adverts or pages, and making adverts interactive with the inclusion of a click-to-call or "purchase now" buttons.
"This is in effect [a package to] start up mobile advertising – once you sign up it will help you build a simple few pages," said Thomas. "Once you've got a URL, that can be put into a WAP push campaign or a text campaign, or linked into ad solutions like Google AdWords."
