Toshiba readies new business laptops
New enterprise-class laptops land in Q204
Toshiba has announced a new range of business laptops, including a thin and light model and one unit with a 17in display for users needing a larger desktop area.
Toshiba's new business-focussed models, which are dues to ship in the second quarter of 2008, consist of the Satellite Pro A300 with a 15in screen, the thin-and-light Satellite Pro U400, and the Satellite Pro P300 featuring a 17in widescreen display. The company also unveiled three similar Satellite laptops targeted at consumers.
All three Satellite Pro models are finished in titanium silver and available with either Windows Vista Business or Windows XP Professional. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Gigabit Ethernet and a modem are all standard features, while some models also include an integrated webcam and microphone. Full specifications and pricing will be confirmed closer to the ship date, Toshiba said.
