AOL and e-conferencing firm WebEx will launch a beta of their enterprise instant messaging tool this week

AOL and web conferencing specialist WebEx will launch a beta version of their enterprise instant messaging service later this week.

AIM Pro Enterprise Instant Messaging edition offers large organisations a messaging service with centralised administrative controls and enhanced security, said WebEx.

Earlier this month, AOL and WebEx released a beta of AIM Pro Professional Edition aimed at small firms and individual professionals. Both programs are based on the popular AIM service, but with an interface tailored for business users.
