Countdown to Kenyan cycle challenge begins

Just two weeks until Computing gets into the saddle

It is two weeks until Computing takes part in the Computer Aid Cycle Challenge in Kenya and we need your help.

Since Computing started working with charity Computer Aid in 2004, readers have pledged some 50,000 used PCs that the charity has refurbished for use in Africa and South America.

From 2 to 11 February, editor-in-chief Toby Wolpe, senior reporter Dave Friedlos, and publisher Robin Booth will cycle 400km across Kenya to raise even more money for Computer Aid.

While in Kenya, they will visit schools and non-government organisations where your machines are now being used.

We are appealing to the IT community to help us reach our target, so if you would like to sponsor us, visit the www.justgiving.com/computingkenya site to make a secure donation.
