Should adjusters reply to a notification from a legal professional?

Once adjusters have that package thing provided by a lawyer with legal documents, pictures along with other papers and etc. How long does it typically state in the letter to respond? Do adjusters genuinely reply by or on the date? How do they respond by telephone, e-mail, letter or fax?
