Google Chrome 9 review

Google Chrome 9 screen shot

Verdict:

The big improvement in Chrome 9 is WebGL, which will enable better delivery of graphically complex web pages and public cloud applications. The addition of Chrome Web Store will accelerate cloud application delivery when Google fully launches its Chrome operating system, since few applications are expected to be installed locally on the system, but delivered over the internet. Instant search is the icing on the cake.

Overall Rating:

five star

Price: £ Free download

Manufacturer: Google

Pros:

WebGL support added; can install on Windows XP and Linux systems – unlike IE9.

Cons:

UK users can only access the developer version of the Chrome Web Store and not the full one, which is only available in the US.
