Kiran Mahil

Part of the IT Leaders 100 - a list of the most influential IT leaders in the UK in 2025.

Kiran is a senior leader with nearly 20 years’ experience in UK financial services, and global experience in both the consulting and telecoms industries. She has a strong business toolkit, centred on inspiring people management, clear strategic thinking, robust risk management and commercial acumen.

Kiran's core skillset is based upon her experience of product management, proposition design and strategy development, across both Retail and Business Banking divisions.

She has a track record in leading, managing change and delivering highly effective outcomes for both customers and colleagues, and is known for building high performing teams, with a strong focus on coaching and mentoring.

Kiran is passionate about driving change and delivering transformative outcomes. She is driving new ways of working within Financial Services and employing ‘people-first’ leadership, to embed sustainable delivery within Banking.

Today, Kiran is responsible for a large on- and offshore team managing run and change, focused on Retail Products. She is SRO for key strategic partners as well as the Exec Sponsor for the Women in Tech network at Nationwide.
