Currently Chief Information Officer at the Financial Conduct Authority, Ian is responsible for shaping and executing the FCA’s technology strategy to support market oversight and regulatory effectiveness.

Ian's previous roles include CIO positions at RBS, Unity Trust Bank and Bedrock Group, as well as senior advisory roles with EY and Elixirr. Ian is a published thought leader in outlets such as Financial Times and Banking Technology, and a speaker at major conferences.
