Helen Wylie

Part of the IT Leaders 100 - a list of the most influential IT leaders in the UK in 2025.

Helen was appointed interim Chief Digital and Information Officer at the Department for Work and Pensions in November 2024.

Helen joined DWP in 2018 and held a variety of technology and digital delivery roles prior to that, including at the Bank of England, Experian and TNT Post Group.

Before moving to the CDIO role Helen was Digital Group’s Chief Technology Officer and Director of the Strategic Delivery Unit, where she was heavily involved in DWP’s broader service modernisation agenda which is shaping the organisation of the future
