Danette Copestake

Part of the IT Leaders 100 - a list of the most influential IT leaders in the UK in 2025.

Danette is Head of IT Architecture at CitiBank and an experienced fractional CIO who is passionate about emerging technologies. She strives to be a catalyst for innovation by 'connecting the dots' and bridging the divide between business strategy, industry trends, technology implementation and change management.

Starting her career in the Royal Navy, Danette built hands-on technical experience at HPE and CSC, where she worked with the Ministry of Defence. She has since held a variety of IT director and fractional CIO roles across multiple industries.
