Alex Duncan

Part of the IT Leaders 100 - a list of the most influential IT leaders in the UK in 2025.

Alex is responsible for delivering the British Heart Foundation's technology roadmap in support of its strategy to 2030. Her remit includes not only how tech can support the charity's research efforts, but also how it can drive income growth and help people affected by heart and circulatory disease.

Having joined BHF in 2022, Alex is currently working on a massive IT modernisation project, involving a new data strategy and an adjustment to new technologies like artificial intelligence.

Bringing experience from a range of sectors, Alex has previously held senior IT roles at the Ambassador Theatre Group, QVC and Lastminute.com.
