Mark is the Chief Information Officer for the University of Salford, a role he has held since January 2020. He is an effective leader with a passion for developing relationships and delivering change in partnership with the business; shaping strategy; translating into delivery; and implementing large-scale change.

Mark is responsible for overseeing all information and communication technology used across the university's network to ensure a safe and secure environment for staff and students. Prior to joining the University of Salford Mark held various roles at RM Group, a provider of IT solutions for the UK education sector.

Mark is experienced in operating model development and implementation to support delivery of digital transformation. He is a decisive and commercially astute senior leader with a record of achievement in leading IT operations through transformation.
