Sabasara is an experienced tech leader, with over 19 years' experience in driving IT strategy and policy by leading multi-disciplinary Agile teams of varying sizes and complex IT Projects. She says:

"I have ability to build strong relationships with all stakeholders and to turn business proposals into reality. Especially successful in leadership roles that demand rigour, a high level of drive and dedication and a focus on delivering business outcomes using methodologies."

Sabasara has acquired a reputation as somewhat of a "fixer." She explains why:

"I am consistently entrusted with projects or programs that have fallen behind schedule, often with little clarity on the end-to-end integration of the system. I have risen to the occasion and put these initiatives back on track, defying the odds and surpassing expectations.

"One of my strengths is assembling and leading teams. With focus on delivery, I build cohesive and motivated teams that rally together towards a common goal. Through exceptional leadership, I instill a sense of purpose and determination, ensuring that every team member is fully engaged and working towards the successful completion of the project."

How does she help other women follow her into the tech workplace?

"At present, I am providing mentorship to aspiring young women who wish to pursue a career in IT but face challenges in initiating their journey. I offer personalized career guidance on a one-to-one basis, assisting them in navigating the path towards their professional development in the IT field."
