Georgie Mason

Part of the Rising Stars 30 — a list of the UK's most talented young tech professionals in 2023

Drawing fully on her maths background, Georgie entered the field of cybersecurity via an internship at LSEG by speaking at conferences and leading hands-on coding workshops for girls.

Working as both a Python and Java developer in a male-dominated industry, she helped to develop how the graduate scheme should be shaped for future generations of female graduates.

Following this, she received a job as a cyber automation engineer in the Security Operations function at LSEG, where she is interested in applying AI to security issues.

An avid dancer, she has training in ballet, tap, jazz and contemporary dance since childhood, and she enjoys comedy podcasts, particularly Off Menu.
