Christopher Adjei-Ampofo

Part of the IT Leaders 100 - a list of the most influential IT leaders in the UK in 2023.

Christopher is a veteran of the financial services industry, starting in 1996, so his move into fintech was a natural step. Having led data privacy and information security at Ipreo before the company was acquired by IHS Markit, Christopher moved into tech leadership as CTO at goAfrica before joining cryptocurrency exchange Uphold - initially as CISO before also taking on the CIO role.

As well as leading IT, Christopher is an advocate for black people in the tech sector, supporting diverse hiring practices and cultural change.
