Anne-Marie Imafidon

Part of the IT Leaders 100 - a list of the most influential IT leaders in the UK in 2023.

A respected thought-leader in the tech space and trustee at the Institute for the Future of Work, Anne-Marie has always been a leading light in tech - from gaining a Computing A-level at the age of 11 to being awarded an MBE in 2017, for her work to bring more women into STEM subjects. As the co-founder and CEO of Stemettes, she leads a team that run workshops, public events and incubators for girls across the UK.

In September 2022 Anne-Marie accepted the honorary position of President of the British Science Association. During the year-long appointment she will work with the chief executive, senior management team and council to use their platform, driving the BSA's mission to make science more relevant, representative and connected to society.
