NHS Digital is the national information and technology provider for the health and care system. Wilkinson joined NHS Digital as CEO in April 2017 from the Home Office, where she had been chief digital, data and technology officer.

To be asked to work at the forefront of delivering these capabilities is hugely exciting," she said.
