Part of the Tech Women Celebration 50 – a curated list of some of the most inspirational women working at all levels of tech

Gabby Martin - I am a senior technology leader with over 15 years' experience at Concentrix, currently leading IT Implementation and technology delivery across global programmes.

Based in Belfast, I have progressed from frontline operational roles into senior leadership, building deep expertise in IT infrastructure, governance, project delivery, automation, risk management and digital transformation. I have led major enterprise programmes including global Microsoft 365 integration and key technology work connected to the Concentrix and Webhelp acquisition and integration journey.

I am also Chair of Women in Tech and have taken part in the SistersIN mentorship programme since its launch, supporting young women with confidence, career development and leadership skills. My career reflects resilience, continuous learning and a strong belief that non-traditional career paths can lead to meaningful leadership impact.

Tell us about your biggest achievement to date

My biggest achievement to date has been building a successful senior leadership career in technology through resilience, continuous learning and delivery, while also creating impact beyond my day-to-day role. I am proud to hold the CISA certification through ISACA, reflecting my commitment to governance, audit, risk and continuous professional development.

I have also been recognised externally for my contribution to technology and leadership. In 2023, I was nominated for and won a Women in Business award for Outstanding Innovation. I was also nominated for the Women in Tech Excellence Awards 2022 in the Woman of the Year category, and for the CCA Women in Leadership Awards 2025 in the Digital Disruptor category.

Alongside this, I have supported major enterprise transformation programmes, including global Microsoft 365 integration and technology work connected to the Concentrix and Webhelp acquisition and integration journey. I take great pride in working with my team — positively challenging, supporting and empowering them to deliver meaningful outcomes for our clients, internal IT organisation and local community.

Beyond delivery, I am proud of my role as Women in Tech Chair and my contribution as a SistersIN mentor, supporting young women with confidence, career development and leadership.

What is the most significant challenge you have overcome?

The most significant challenge I have overcome is building a senior career in technology without a traditional bachelor's degree or a typical technical career path. I had to prove myself through delivery, credibility, resilience and continuous learning, often in environments where confidence and visibility are just as important as technical knowledge.

I progressed through multiple roles at Concentrix, from operational positions into IT management, project leadership and now senior technology implementation leadership. Each step required me to learn quickly, adapt to changing business needs, lead teams across different countries and manage complex programmes with high expectations.

These experiences taught me to be practical, people-focused and delivery-driven. It also made me passionate about helping others who may not see themselves represented in technology leadership. Through Women in Tech and mentoring, I try to show others that there is no single route into technology and that experience, determination and the willingness to keep learning can be just as powerful as a traditional path.

Tell us something about you people would find surprising

Outside of my technology leadership role, music and comedy are a big part of who I am. I play the violin, love live concerts and enjoy stand-up comedy, which gives me a creative and fun balance to the pace and pressure of working in global IT delivery.

People may also be surprised that my career journey into technology leadership was not linear or traditionally planned. I built my path step by step through curiosity, resilience, continuous learning and taking opportunities that pushed me outside my comfort zone.

What motivates me most is not only technology, but people. I enjoy helping others grow in confidence, whether through my team, Women in Tech, SistersIN mentoring or supporting the local community.
