What's the most exciting part of your current role?

Lots of really interesting challenges across technology, processes and people.

What do you do in week one of a new project to avoid pain in month six?

Find out the lessons learnt from the rest of the team from past projects so we don't reinvent the wheel.

What’s the part of your estate you most want to simplify in 2026?

Anything that begins with the word Microsoft...

Excluding smartphones, what piece of technology could you not live without and why?

My Netgear Nighthawk M1 mobile router, which doubles as a mobile emergency battery charger. I can place it somewhere that has a mobile signal while sitting somewhere that doesn't.

What excites you most about the future of IT?

Just how quickly we take for granted technology that was only a prop in a sci-fi show less than a decade ago.

What talent are you quietly proud of that would never show up on LinkedIn?

My origami frogs.
