Jenny Rae

Part of the IT Leaders 100 - a list of the most influential IT leaders in the UK in 2026.

Jenny Rae leads the Information and Communication Technologies division at Imperial College London, and is responsible for delivering the institution’s Digital Plan.

Appointed CIO in October 2023, she oversees all aspects of Imperial’s digital strategy, supporting its research, education and operational ambitions.

Jenny first joined Imperial in January 2022 as Director of Digital Products, bringing experience in product management and digital transformation.

Before moving into higher education, she worked as Chief Operations Officer at Found Tech, where she led product, technology and business operations.

Earlier in her career, she held senior roles at Vodafone and BT Group, focusing on technology, product leadership and business transformation.
