Varun joined Codatech, a software provider to the recruitment sector, in 2020 during the pandemic. He moved the company to a remote-first model, reinvesting office savings into the team expanding it from 7 to 35 employees across the UK and Philippines. In January 2025, the company rebranded to Finity, as it aims at creating financial unity in the supply chain.

Varun is particularly excited about GenAI’s potential to revolutionise industries, but prioritises solving real customer challenges over adopting AI for its own sake.

Beyond strategy, Varun emphasises storytelling as a critical leadership skill, translating complex ideas into compelling narratives to inspire teams, attract talent and build client trust. Balancing innovation with empathy, they find this blend both unexpected and rewarding.

Outside work, he unwinds with Latin dancing, particularly Salsa and Bachata.
