Sumayya Khan

Part of the Rising Stars 30 — a list of the UK's most talented young tech professionals in 2025

Sumayya's fascination with how technology can be used to solve complex problems, led her to pursue forensic computing BTEC at Uxbridge College and then Computer Science with Professional Practice at Brunel University. She never lost her drive to solve complex challenges, moving through analyst roles at GlaxoSmithKline and increasingly senior technical positions at Accenture and now Deloitte.

Comfortable working across sectors, most recently Sumayya used her Enterprise Architecture (EA) knowledge to support the CTO of a non-profit organisation in developing their technology strategy.

Sumayya believes AI will be transformative. It is already changing EA tooling, she says.

A new mother, she balances childcare with her commitments to mentoring junior colleagues at Deloitte. She also engages in stakeholder management, facilitates workshops, shapes business strategy and contributes to code development.
