Seun Komolafe

Part of the Rising Stars 30 — a list of the UK's most talented young tech professionals in 2025

After flying professionally for almost a decade as a helicopter pilot, Seun returned to the equally exciting world of data. With a Master's degree in Data Analytics and 3 years’ professional experience working with large organisations, she has already received several awards for her impact both within and outside of the workplace. At Mars Petcare she developed highly intuitive and insightful BI dashboards for leadership teams leading to quick and effective decision making. Outside of work, she consistently shows up as a mentor on panels, university and primary school career talks and advocates for female representation in male dominated careers.

“Many people assume that being a data professional involves mostly independent work,” says Seun. However, collaboration in cross-functional teams and learning from your colleagues is essential achieving your goals in a fast-paced work environment.”
