Amelia Hewitt
Part of the Rising Stars 30 — a list of the UK's most talented young tech professionals in 2025
Amelia began her cyber journey at tech law firm Pinsent Masons, later becoming director of Hewitt Partnerships Ltd, a Governance, risk and complaince (GRC) cyber advisory. Inspired by the ethos of 'giving back,' she identified a critical need for pro-bono cybersecurity services for charities and small businesses. At just 21, she launched CybAid, a non-profit connecting skilled volunteers with organisations to enhance cybersecurity accessibility. In one year, CybAid amassed over 100 volunteers, delivered hundreds of free service hours, and supported more than 30 charities—a testament to her vision and dedication.
Amelia is deeply involved in every aspect of CybAid, from design to delivery, ensuring impact and compliance. She’s also developing a volunteer tech platform to streamline safe, efficient collaboration. Passionate about AI, she embraces its potential while addressing its challenges.
Outside work, Amelia prioritises self-care through fitness, advocating for fertility health after her own battle with endometriosis.
“She has gone from strength to strength in the industry, achieving a staggering amount in a very short space of time,” said a colleague.
