Insomniac Games, the studio behind titles including Spyro, Ratchet & Clank and Marvel's Spider-Man, has been breached by the Rhysidia ransomware group.

Rhysidia shared screenshots of the stolen on its TOR site, including imagery from Insomniac's upcoming game, Marvel's Wolverine.

Personal data like passport scans of current and former employees also appears to be included, as well as information about Yuri Lowenthal, the voice actor who plays Spider-Man.

Emails and signed, confidential documents can also be seen in the screenshots.

Rhysidia has given Insomniac a seven-day deadline to pay up before it releases the stolen info, according to Cyber Daily. However, at the same time it's running an auction on the dataset starting at 50 Bitcoin (about $2 million).

""Open your wallets and be ready to buy exclusive data. We sell only to one hand, no reselling, you will be the only owner!" claim the criminals.

Rhysidia first made an appearance in May this year. Since then it has breached companies around the world, although has focused its efforts on Europe. In the UK, its victims include institutions like The British Library and King Edward VII's Hospital - where the Royal Family receive treatment.

The group is starting the Insomniac data auction at a far higher price than it asked for for data from the Library (starting at 20BTC, about £600,000) or hospital (10BTC, about £300,000). Criminals normally price their demands based on the size and sensitivity of data stolen, as well as the victim's resources.
