Founder says award reflects the increasing importance of tech sustainability

KOcycle was named Special Award – Sustainability winner at the prestigious UK IT Industry Awards, a big win for a company only founded five years ago

Speaking after receiving the award from comedian Ellie Taylor, Founder and MD of KOcycle Oliver Mason said:

"We don't do what we do for awards but equally it's so exciting to be recognised for all the hard work that's gone into this from my amazing team."

He went on to say that the award reflected not just the efforts of his company but also the change that IT purchasers and the channel is undergoing with regards to putting sustainability at the forefront.

Why are these awards so special?

"They're massively important, said Mason. "There are lots of regional awards but that national recognition from the likes of the BCS is huge."
