'It feels utterly exhilarating'

The principal UX and UR consultant at digital solution provider Triad Group said she felt validated.

Lucille Harvey, won the Rising Star of the Year at last week's UK IT Industry Awards. She was also part of a team with the Department for Transport (DfT) which picked up the UX Project of the Year award.

"Walking off the stage tonight feels utterly exhilarating," said Lucille.

"I really wasn't expecting to win. I feel so many emotions, and happiness. It's brilliant."

Nevertheless, she acknowledged that she has worked "really hard" over the past couple of years, and viewed the award as a validation of that fact.
