Computing's AI & Machine Learning Awards 2020 are now open for entries

The AI & ML Awards separate the great from the good. Does your company have what it takes?

Artificial intelligence is the major topic dominating the IT industry today, and there are hundreds of companies competing to be heard. We're proud to announce the return of Computing's AI & Machine Learning Awards to identify the frontrunners from the rest of the pack.

We have 27 categories this year covering AI tools, projects and services - and, just as importantly, the companies and individuals who are really making a difference in this fast-moving area.

To reflect the changing face of the AI space, we have introduced three new awards this year: the Explainable AI Award, Best Use of Conversational AI, and Best Use of Neural Networks.

The first of these awards looks for the companies who are going beyond simple ‘black box' AI - an increasingly important trend in the age of GDPR. The second is focused around speech recognition and its use in the business world, where our judges will look for the measurable benefits a customer has gained from implementing conversational AI. Finally, the Best Use of Neural Networks award revolves around an advanced breed of artificial intelligence, which learns how to perform tasks without excessive programming. Again, judges will be looking for the provable business benefits of taking on such a solution - and proof that it is, indeed, a neural network.

As with every Computing award show, an independent panel of industry experts will judge every entry that makes it to the shortlist.

Entry to the Awards is FREE, and closes on the 17th April. The full list of categories is below:
