The Computing Digital Technology Leaders Awards are now open for entries

2017 event offers 27 categories to celebrate digital transformation success

Computing is proud to announce that the 2017 Computing Digital Technology Leaders Awards are now open for entries.

The awards recognise that organisations of every size and sector are rapidly embracing digital technologies to improve customer interactions, boost sales or streamline processes, in turn making digital talent integral to business success.

The Computing Digital Technology Leaders Awards will recognise the organisations, teams and the individuals delivering these digital transformation projects with 27 awards across three major categories.

The Organisational Excellence section focuses on the teams bringing everything together, from Digital Team of the Year and Design Team of the Year to Development Team of the Year and Project Team of the Year.

Project Excellence will celebrate everything from big data and e-commerce projects to website and mobile initiatives, as well as focusing on sector-specific projects, such as SMEs, not-for-profits, large enterprises and public sector organisations.

There are also awards focusing on some of the most cutting-edge areas of technology, such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, wearables and even augmented and virtual reality.

Finally, the Personal Excellence section focuses on the individuals bringing these projects to life, celebrating everyone from scrum masters, web designers and front-end developers, to digital apprentices, product managers and chief digital officers.

Entry is free and entrants must submit a case study of a maximum 1,000 words that fulfils the stated objectives. Submissions will be accepted via the online entry system that is now live and the deadline for entries is 5pm on Friday, 7 April.

Winners will be chosen by our expert judging panel of leading professionals and the Computing editorial team.

The awards night will take place on 6, July, at a central London venue, complete with a three-course meal and entertainment.
