The UK IT Industry Awards, the most prestigious awards ceremony in IT, is open for entries, but the deadline of Friday 8 July is approaching fast!

The entry process is extremely simple, and can be completed online here. Every entry is read by a team of expert moderators from the BCS, the Chartered Institute of IT. These moderators select the shortlist, with those making the cut then invited for a day of face-to-face judging before a further panel of experts, who select the lucky winners and runners up.

This two-stage process involving face-to-face judging with a large number of industry experts makes the UK IT Industry Awards the most rigorously judged, and therefore the most sought-after awards in the industry.

On top of the thrill of potentially winning a gong, the night itself is always incredible fun, with a top comedian compering, and live music taking the party into the early hours. In recent years comedians such as Jimmy Carr, Rich Hall, Ed Byrne and Stephen K Amos have kept the awards rolling and the laughs coming.
