Executive recruitment firm Heidrick & Struggles deploys Box cloud collaboration tools
'By leveraging Box, we will be able to create a central workspace for our consultants and clients,' says CIO Alwin Brunner
Executive recruitment and leadership consultation firm Heidrick & Struggles has deployed Box cloud collaboration services across its global operation.
Heidrick & Struggles has more than 1,500 employees and 50 offices across North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia Pacific, Africa and the Middle East, and all will be equipped with Box software tools.
"With our workforce spread across 30 countries, it's critical that we provide our people with the right tools to foster greater efficiencies and deliver fantastic client service at every touch point," said Alwin Brunner, CIO at Heidrick & Struggles.
"By leveraging Box, we will be able to create a central workspace for our consultants and clients and streamline the process of finding the most innovative and distinguished leaders for the world's top companies," he added.
The rollout will enable Heidrick & Struggles staff to digitise the entire executive client search and recruitment process by leveraging Box as a central client portal where consultants can easily share materials with clients.
Box will also allow for the replacement of network drives, making it easier for Heidrick & Struggles staff to collaborate, no matter which of the global offices they're located in, while Box mobile solutions will enable users to collaborate and share files from any computer, phone or tablet.
Aaron Levie, co-founder and CEO of Box, welcomed the deal with Heidrick & Struggles.
"Heidrick & Struggles pioneered the profession of executive search more than 60 years ago," he said.
"Today, they're a tremendous example of a digital enterprise, leading with the use of innovative new technologies and empowering employees with better access to information for improved client outcomes," Levie continued.
"We are incredibly excited to work with a company that's moving forward to provide integrated leadership solutions for organisations across the globe," he added.
Speaking at an event in London earlier this year, Levie explained how he believes that his cloud-storage company can differentiate itself from competitors such as Dropbox in a very busy enterprise collaboration and storage software space, because it offers integrated tools that enable customers to "enrich" their organisations.
