Thousands of the UK's top IT professionals gathered at the Battersea Park Events Arena for the UK IT Industry Awards 2014 last night.

It was a glittering evening, with attendees enjoying a champagne reception, three-course meal, and then the comic stylings of top comedian Rich Hall.

But the real focus of the event was the awards themselves, with dozens of individuals and companies on tenterhooks to see whether they had won one of the coveted gongs.
