Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity looking for CRM software solution

Project could accommodate more than one vendor and implementation partner

Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity (GOSHCC) is looking for a supplier to provide customer relationship management (CRM) software, a public tender has revealed.

The Official Journal of the European Union notice states that the charity is looking for CRM software vendor(s) and implementation partner(s) to supply and implement an appropriate CRM system, hosting and maintenance solution.

It said that the project could be divided into separate lots to be supported by different vendors, rather than one sole vendor.

The product and vendor(s) have to show full compliance with the UK's charity regulatory and legislation requirements, it said.

Project requirements include: adhering to the Data Protection Act (DPA); setup and claiming of direct debits via BACS transmission; integration requirements for online third-party fundraising suppliers such as Virgin Money Giving and Just Giving; integration for third-party response and fulfilment handling houses; integration and reconciliation requirements for a third-party finance and accounting system; and integration requirements for the charity's legacy systems, which include its HR and business intelligence systems.

Interested parties must send an expression of interest and a completed online vendor survey pre-qualification questionnaire to GOSHCC. The final short-list of companies will be invited to submit further information and potentially give demonstrations of their CRM product, capabilities and experience to the charity's project team in April.

Thereafter, two or three vendors will be invited to participate in a proof-of-concept during May and June, before the charity makes a decision on the vendor in July.

The charity does not state how much the contract is valued at, or the contract's duration. It is not covered by the Government Procurement Agreement (GPA).
